BEAMSHYFT LOOKUP — START HERE Requires macOS 13 or newer. Supports Apple silicon and Intel Macs. You do not need Xcode or an Apple Developer account to use the app. INSTALL 1. Quit any older Beamshyft Lookup from its box icon in the menu bar. 2. Drag BeamshyftLookup.app onto the Applications folder in this disk image. If replacing an older copy, choose Replace. 3. Eject the disk image, then open BeamshyftLookup from Applications. 4. Look for the box icon in the menu bar. There is no Dock icon. 5. Press Option–Space to open search. Try the demo before connecting to Zoho. If a LOCAL BUILD.txt file is included, this copy has not been notarized. Ask the sender for a notarized build if macOS or your organization's policy blocks installation. Apple's instructions for opening a trusted local build: https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/mh40616/mac CONNECT YOUR ZOHO ACCOUNT Each teammate signs in with their own Zoho account; the installer contains no coworker's credentials or shared Zoho client secret. 1. Open Settings from the menu-bar icon and choose your Zoho data center. 2. Choose whether you need Books quotes and CRM new-customer creation. 3. Click Sign in with Zoho, sign in on Zoho's page, and approve access. 4. You will return to the app automatically. Select your Inventory organization. 5. For quotes, load and select your Books organization and Default Books location. If Sign in with Zoho is unavailable, ask your administrator for a configured team installer. Teammates do not need API Console access or a Self Client. Existing Self Client connections still work; their setup is under Advanced. Your personal refresh token is stored in this Mac's Keychain. Each Mac has its own settings and cached data. The team's sign-in service handles token exchange/refresh; normal Inventory, Books, and CRM calls go directly to Zoho. Disconnect removes this Mac's saved connection and cached data. To revoke the app's authorization at Zoho too, use Connected Apps in your Zoho account. Creating a quote makes a draft in Books; it does not send it to the customer. To start the app automatically, enable Open at login in Settings after moving it into Applications. NEW-CUSTOMER QUOTES (0.4) Command–Shift–N opens the new-customer form. Enter the customer's first/last name, optional email/phone, and deal name/amount. Create customer & quote creates a CRM lead, converts it to account/contact/deal, then opens the linked Books quote. Closing date is one week ahead. Command–Option–C copies the created or selected Books quote link. Use Settings > Update access and Sign in with Zoho to approve the CRM and Books customer-import permissions. The CRM–Books integration must sync Accounts and Contacts and show Quotes in Deals' Zoho Finance related list. Choose a valid CRM stage/pipeline that does not auto-create a second quote. The app saves completed steps locally so you can continue after a failure. An uncertain write must be checked in Zoho before retrying.
